At the heart of the Torrent DH is a robust full aluminium frame with size-specific geometry developed around dual-crown forks and a 29"/27.5" mixed-wheel configuration. The larger front wheel helps maintain stability and roll over rough terrain, while the smaller rear wheel keeps the bike agile and easy to manoeuvre when you're throwing shapes through corners or navigating tight technical sections.
The frame uses Norco's VPS (Virtual Pivot Suspension) platform, a simple Horst Link-style suspension design that provides excellent traction, support and control while keeping maintenance straightforward. The suspension remains composed under hard braking and repeated impacts, making the Torrent DH ideal for relentless bike park laps and demanding downhill tracks.
200mm of Controlled Suspension
With 200mm of travel, the Torrent DH is built to absorb big hits, deep landings and rough sections of trail without losing composure.
The bike comes equipped with a RockShox BoXXer Select D2 200mm dual-crown fork and a custom-tuned RockShox Vivid Air rear shock. The rear shock features additional end-stroke ramping to help control bottom-outs when you land jumps deep or charge through particularly rough terrain.
For riders who prefer the feel of a coil shock, the frame is also coil compatible, giving you the flexibility to tailor the suspension to your riding style and the demands of your local trails.
