Patented HVP6 Downhill Suspension
At the heart of the Norco Team DH is the patented High Virtual Pivot Six-Link (HVP6) suspension design. Developed specifically for downhill racing, the six-link layout provides greater control over axle path, braking characteristics and the leverage curve than traditional four-bar suspension systems.
The Team DH's Progression Adjustment allows riders to fine-tune suspension support and bottom-out resistance deeper into the 200mm of rear travel, while maintaining consistent initial sensitivity. An adjustable idler, using patented technology licensed from i-Track, allows anti-squat to be tuned to suit rider preference and track conditions.
Combined with Norco's Ride Aligned® Setup Guide, these adjustment options provide a clear starting point while giving experienced riders the freedom to dial in the suspension for maximum traction, support and control.
Race-Ready Performance
The Team DH features size-specific geometry across five frame sizes (S1-S5), helping optimise rider position, weight distribution and handling for different rider heights. Reach adjustment provides additional fit tuning, while custom shock tunes are matched to the Team DH's suspension kinematics for the intended balance of grip, support and control.
The premium suspension package includes a FOX 40 Performance Elite fork with Grip X2 damper and 200mm travel, paired with a FOX Factory DHX2 rear shock featuring HSC/LSC and HSR/LSR adjustment and a Sprindex spring.
Powerful SRAM Maven Base brakes with metallic pads provide dependable stopping performance, while the SRAM GX DH 7-speed drivetrain delivers simple, robust shifting designed specifically for the demands of downhill racing.
Premium Downhill Specification
The Team DH rolls on RaceFace ARC HD wheels, combining a 29" front wheel with a 27.5" rear wheel for a balance of stability, rollover capability and agility. The wheelset is fitted with a Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5" 3C MaxxGrip DH front tyre and Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5x2.4" 3C MaxxGrip DH rear tyre, providing the high levels of grip required when attacking steep, technical and unpredictable terrain.
Norco has also paid close attention to serviceability. Oversized bearings, simplified pivot hardware, easy-to-locate top-hat spacers and external cable routing make maintenance and servicing straightforward — an important consideration for riders regularly pushing their bike hard.
