XR Means Extra Rad
The Rift Zone XR AXS is Marin's hard-charging, high-spec version of the Rifty. It's designed for riders who want to push harder, ride faster and take on more demanding terrain.
Up front, the bike features a RockShox Lyrik Select+ 150mm fork, paired with a RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ rear shock with a custom tune. Together, this suspension package provides the control and confidence needed to tackle everything from technical rock gardens and steep descents to high-speed trail sections.
Grip comes from Maxxis Assegai 2.5" tyres with MAXX TERRA compound and EXO casing, mounted to tubeless-compatible Marin aluminium wheels. The result is excellent traction and predictable handling when the trail gets loose, steep or technical.
Stopping power comes from SRAM Code Bronze four-piston hydraulic disc brakes, with a 200mm front rotor and 180mm rear rotor, giving the Rift Zone XR AXS powerful and consistent braking performance on demanding descents.
SRAM GX Eagle AXS Wireless Shifting
At the heart of the XR AXS drivetrain is SRAM GX Eagle AXS T-Type wireless electronic shifting. With a SRAM GX Eagle 10-52T cassette and 32T chainring, the wide-range 12-speed drivetrain provides the climbing range needed for steep ascents while delivering crisp, precise gear changes across the trail.
The wireless AXS setup also keeps the cockpit clean and eliminates traditional gear cables, adding to the Rift Zone's modern, high-tech feel.
