Downhill Performance Without Compromise
At the heart of the Quake is Marin's Series 4 Alloy frame, featuring 180mm of MultiTrac LT suspension travel, adjustable chainstay length and height, a 148mm rear thru-axle and integrated frame protection. The frame is also UDH compatible, giving the bike a modern, future-proof drivetrain interface.
Up front, the RockShox Boxxer 200mm fork provides the control and stiffness required for high-speed downhill riding, while the RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate DH rear shock delivers plush, controlled suspension performance through big hits, compressions and technical sections.

The Quake's downhill-specific drivetrain features a SRAM GX DH 7-speed rear derailleur and shifter, paired with a SRAM Descendant Alloy 34T crankset and GS DH 11-15T cassette. The close-ratio setup is purpose-built for downhill riding, giving you the gears you need without unnecessary complexity.
Stopping power comes from SRAM Maven Silver 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes, with 200mm HSC rotors front and rear. With powerful, consistent braking performance, the Maven system gives you the control needed when carrying serious speed into corners and steep descents.
Schwalbe Magic Mary Radial Casing Tyres
Grip is provided by a premium combination of Schwalbe Magic Mary Gravity Pro radial casing tyres. The 29 x 2.5" front tyre uses an Ultra Soft compound, while the 27.5 x 2.5" rear uses a Soft compound.
This mixed-wheel setup gives the Quake the confidence and rollover characteristics of a 29" front wheel while retaining the agility and manoeuvrability of a smaller rear wheel – ideal for aggressive downhill riding.
The Marin DH double-wall alloy rims are tubeless compatible, helping riders maximise grip while reducing the risk of punctures and allowing tyre pressures to be tailored to individual riding preferences.
