Built for Enduro Performance
Marin has designed the Alpine Trail E2 around serious trail and enduro riding. The 170mm RockShox ZEB Select+ fork features a robust 29-inch chassis and provides the control and stiffness required when riding aggressively through rough terrain.
At the rear, a RockShox Vivid Air Select+ shock works with Marin's 160mm MultiTrac LT suspension system to deliver controlled, progressive suspension performance. The adjustable headset and chainstay length/height also allow riders to fine-tune the bike's geometry to suit their riding style and terrain.
The Alpine Trail E2 uses a mixed-wheel setup, combining a 29-inch front wheel with a 27.5-inch rear wheel. This provides confident rollover and stability at the front while keeping the rear of the bike agile and manoeuvrable on technical trails.

The Alpine Trail E2 is equipped with a component package designed to withstand demanding electric mountain bike riding. SRAM Eagle 70 T-Type provides dependable 12-speed shifting, while the SRAM Maven Bronze four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 200mm rotors front and rear provide powerful braking performance when the trail gets steep.
The bike rolls on WTB Sportterra Tough i30 wheels, paired with aggressive Schwalbe Magic Mary Gravity Pro radial tyres. A 2.5-inch Ultra Soft compound tyre is fitted to the front for maximum grip and control, with a Soft compound rear tyre providing a balance of traction, durability and rolling performance.
An X-Fusion Manic HC dropper seatpost is also fitted as standard, with travel ranging from 150mm to 200mm depending on frame size, allowing you to quickly lower your saddle for steep descents and technical riding.
